We’re excited to offer High Holy Days programming for Pre-K (potty-trained) through 5th grade. Children will enjoy age-appropriate activities—service (grades 3–5), art, games, stories, snack, and more— and will join the main service to hear the shofar. This program allows parents to fully participate in services knowing their kids are safe, engaged, and connected to the holiday spirit.

Visit our Judaica Shop for ritual items and gifts for the High Holy Days. The Temple Emanuel Judaica Shop is a small business that donates all proceeds back to the Temple.
We carry a beautiful line of competitively priced tallitot, perfect for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and the High Holy Days. You’ll also find a wide selection of life cycle cards, and even shofars if you’d like to participate in the blowing at the end of Yom Kippur. Stop by on a Friday night before services to check it out!
Join us for an evening of prayer and reflection as we prepare for the High Holy Days. As part of this tradition, the Torah covers will be changed to white, symbolizing purity and renewal for the season ahead.

Join us at the water’s edge for the tradition of Tashlich. With birdseed provided by Temple Emanuel and a few songs, we symbolically let go of our shortcomings and the things that hold us back.
This outdoor gathering is open to all ages and is especially meaningful for families with children. Please dress comfortably for warm weather and a gravel landscape.
