Youth Programming for grades PreK–5th

We’re excited to offer High Holy Days programming for Pre-K (potty-trained) through 5th grade. Children will enjoy age-appropriate activities—service (grades 3–5), art, games, stories, snack, and more— and will join the main service to hear the shofar. This program allows parents to fully participate in services knowing their kids are safe, engaged, and connected to the holiday spirit.

5786 Memorial Book

Honor and remember loved ones in our annual Memorial Book.

Click here to add those you wish to be remembered.

Submission deadline is Friday, September 12, 2025.

Each year during the High Holy Days, Temple Emanuel creates a Memorial Book to honor the memory of our loved ones. This tradition allows us to pause, reflect, and carry forward the legacies of those who shaped our lives. By recording their names, we affirm that their influence continues to guide us, and that their memory is a blessing within our community.

The Memorial Book is more than a list of names—it is a sacred act of remembrance, linking generations and reminding us of the covenant we share with one another.

“May God remember forever my dear ones, and may my life always bring honor to their memory.”
— Yizkor Service, Gates of Repentance

Visit our Judaica Shop for ritual items and gifts for the High Holy Days. The Temple Emanuel Judaica Shop is a small business that donates all proceeds back to the Temple.

We carry a beautiful line of competitively priced tallitot, perfect for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and the High Holy Days. You’ll also find a wide selection of life cycle cards, and even shofars if you’d like to participate in the blowing at the end of Yom Kippur. Stop by on a Friday night before services to check it out!

Tashlich Services

Join us for this meaningful ritual as we symbolically cast away our sins.

Join us at the water’s edge for the tradition of Tashlich. With birdseed provided by Temple Emanuel and a few songs, we symbolically let go of our shortcomings and the things that hold us back.

This outdoor gathering is open to all ages and is especially meaningful for families with children. Please dress comfortably for warm weather and a gravel landscape.

I would like to register for Tashlich.
